Tatting Class

Tatting

Bobbin lace - Buckspoint pattern
So excited to have started  teaching a tatting class!! Linda at Tomorrow's Quilts (it is a
Wonderful Shop)  in Waco is graciously hosting a tatting class. There is nothing more fun(other than loving on your grandchildren) than sharing what you love. I love tatting and making bobbin lace. Hopefully my enthusiasm is infectious enough to encourage them as they get the "hang of it".

Trip with my Sister to Country Living Fair

My sister and I ventured off to Atlanta for the Country Living Fair. It was wonderful. In addition to seeing lots of antiques, collectibles - I saw lace being used in home decor in combination with burlap and muslin. My ability to adequately describe the pieces in the their splendor is limited -I am sharing a couple of the photos I took, but saw numerous other items - no they didn't make it home with me, but have inspired me to get busy making lace and using it!!
